Most times the left outlane kickback hits the pop bumper and goes right back into the outlane. Otherwise the ball drops into the outlane without the kickback.
I think this could be fixed by raising the back legs of the machine.
In watching the Summer Pinball Classic streamed by Fox Cities Pinball over the weekend, I saw that the kickback lane on the Future Spa at District 82 tends to consistently send the ball to the top of the lower pop bumper (e.g., see at around the 3:32:50 mark at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2846883475, and several more times throughout that game). That's a way better feed than the one we get at APC, which often doesn't seem to give the player much control over the outcome.
I'm not sure that making the game steeper would cause the ball to end up sending the ball higher up on the pop bumper, but doing something to prevent the ball from just bouncing right back over toward the kickback/outlane would certainly make the game more fun to play.
