Balls getting stuck in the White House

I've seen multiple people get balls into the White House, and then nothing kicks them out. On one instance, I gave the machine a firm upward nudge, and that was enough to make a ball kick out. On a second occasion, my initial attempts to do that weren't successful, and a more forceful attempt tilted the game, which then kicked out both balls that had been locked in it.
