The start button doesn't always seem to register a regular press. A firm press does seem to pretty consistently work.
I took a look at this, assuming that it was a leaf switch that I could easily adjust, but it's actually a microswitch. It's possible to press the button in and hear the click of the microswitch activate, but for it to not actually register.
It doesn't look like there's any kind of adjustment that can me made on the switch itself. It's likely that replacing the switch would completely address the problem, but it's also the case that you can just make sure to press the button firmly for it to register. You don't really even have to press it that firmly, but it is something that I'd noticed when installing the tilt bob that sometimes a press wouldn't register.
