The left flipper was very weak, barely able to make it to the Final Draw scoop. I took a look at it in the flipper test mode, and it seemed fine, but that was after runnin turning off the game (but only for a couple of minutes).
I kept playing practice games and it seemed to get weaker again, so I pulled the playfield up a bit and noticed a burning kind of smell, and it's definitely coming from the left flipper coil. So it seems like that one needs to be replaced.
I checked the end of stroke switch on the coil, and it was closed. So that was causing the coil to basically stay in high-power mode whenever it was flipped. After adjusting the switch to add a little gap, it seems fine. I had already ordered replacement coil assemblies, so we'll have them if necessary, but I played several games on it and it seems to be working well.
